I have old Cubase Projects with selfmade Drums (made with Artist Drums and an Roland e-drum) on a midi DrumTrack in cubase. So I would like to edit those tracks/parts with SD3 and save them in “User-Midi”. I opened the old project in Cubase 9.03 Pro, build a new track with SD3 and copy the parts from the old track to SD3 track. Then I drop one part to SD3 “Song Block Area” and edit it (velocity, notes etc.) with the SD3 editor. That works exellent! After dropping this file to “User Midi” it is available with all corrections I have done, even temp setting. Now I ve done it with an part with time signature 9/8. If you see this file now in the browser grid it shows a time signatur of 4/4 instead of 9/8. I think I ve done something wrong, but what?

We have fixed a bug, where time signatures wasn’t saved in User Midi folder. It will be implemented in the next update!

Hello Henrik,
I just installed 3.03 Update, but the bug seems to be already there
I just tried to do the following, using Superior Drummer 3.0.3:
– Drag a 4/4 MIDI file to the song track
– Change the track time signature to 3/4
– Drag the file to the user folder
-> When I select the file in user browser, it says 3/4.
Do you do it another way?

Hi Henrik,
I did it exactly that way. But I tried it with a midifile with time signature 9/4 and it doesn’t work. The file after dragging it into the user folder shows 4/4. But today I tried it with an file in 9/8, 3/4 and 5/4. These time signature were shown in the user folder correctly. But If I use 9/4 or 13/8 it does not work.
There is something more that I noticed. All time signatures that are already in midifiles (from midipacks) in my Groove Library works fine. I can see them in the time signature filter window of the groove tab. If I use an new midifile with a “new” signature like 13/8 it does not work.
I have notified the coders, sounds like a bug to me. Thanks for the detailed report!

I have also to thank you for your quick reply. Now I am looking forward to Update 3.04
Nevertheless SD3 is great!
We are still working on the next update. It’s a big update, but we are working as hard as we can Stay tuned…
