Import Midi into pro tools

I have exported my bass line to a midi file and brought it in on an instrument track in Pro Tools with EzBass as the plugin but I do not hear anything when I hit play. I do this the same way with SD3 and it works.     ???????

EZbass version: 1.0.2
Operating system: macOS Catalina (10.15)

Does the small “MIDI” text on the bottom right corner flash in green when you play? That’s an indicator of EZbass receiving MIDI notes.

If you add a groove to the timeline of EZbass, can you hear that?

No to the green light and yes I can here when I add a groove or pick a note on the bass.

Ok, so somehow the MIDI notes aren’t sent to EZbass.

Can the MIDI be muted or similar?

If you add a new track, add an instance of EZbass there, and add MIDI?
