What do you mean by “some notes are changed”? Please elaborate. I have not seen this problem when importing MIDI files.

I mean that when I load midi exported from Logic Pro the timing is recognised but triplets, for example C -C#-C, are all C. It’s happened on several files. Load the same file back into Logic and it’s fine. So its logical to suspect there’s some corruption during the import process

I could understand if it was audio but surely midi is midi?

I agree that MIDI data is agnostic. However, there could be metadata in there that is obscuring the import. Metadata is the one thing that does not always transfer well.

Care to ZIP up and post the Logic project with just MIDI in question?

Thanks for the reply and see attached midi. (Single Track Logic Pro with just midi is is too large for the system at 1.10Gb.) The part is a Toontrack EZ Keys midi file imported into Logic Pro X.

I’m interested to see what you find and how I can avoid the issue in future. I’ve only recently purchased EZ Bass so may be doing something wrong….is there an easier way for Toontrack products to communicate with each other?

    Best David
