    I am guessing it’s this section of the EULA you may be referring to;

    1. INSTALLATION. You (one user) may download, install and use a Product on one computer or on more than one computer only if these computers form a single production unit or constitute separate workstations necessary for the task at hand and belong to the same owner. The number of concurrent installations of a Product is limited by the provisions or authorization process on the Toontrack Music website or the copy protection system included in a Product. If the Product does not have a copy protection system, no more than two concurrent installations are permitted. The number of permitted concurrent installations are subject to change without notice.

    but to be honest, not sure what your asking, or what ultimately you are doing that requires 2 instance’s running on separate machines. If all you need is to copy sample and/or MIDI libraries from PC to Mac, you don’t need EZDrummer running. Either use an intermediary USB drive/stick or mount the PC disk to the Mac and copy.
    I could be totally confused (just stepped off a plane)

    I currently have EXDrummer 3 on a PC. I am buying a Mac Mini Pro M2 and I will need EZDrummer 3 on the Mac.

    I need to get all my drum parts on the PC to be on my new Mac. I can’t simply transfer them, but I can open EZDrummer on the PC and on the Mac and find each part on the PC to look them up on EXDrummer on the Mac.

    Does that make sense?

    How do they get on the Mac for you to look up?

    Are we talking about user MIDI or something else?

    Would you be able to walk me through what you’re going to do? I am sure it’s ok to do what you are planning on doing. It just seems, to me, unnecessarily time consuming. (At my age time is a valuable resource)

    my thought is: you need to install your products on the Mac. then if you’re sharing the project files – either use cloud storage to readily share them, or SMB connection to the PC from the Mac. i use cloud storage for sharing projects across my machines (not Toontrack though – but if i did i would install the products on all of them, in accordance with whatever license is approved).

    If I have my drum parts in EXDrummer 3, I can right-click on any of them and find the exact folder the drum part came from.
    Since I can’t move all of the drum parts I have selected for a song from my Windows PC to my new Mac, I want to have EZDrummer open on both the PC and the Mac so I can right-click the drum parts on the PC and then find those same drum parts in EZDrummer on the Mac.
    My question is: Can I have both EZDrummers open at the same time? Yes or No

    Sure, but… I’ll say it would much easier to open EZDrummer on your PC, Open your sessions up and File > Save-As…. this will save them as EZD project files. Copy the project files over to your Mac, and they will have everything from those session/tracks without having to look for anything, including your mixer settings interchanged drum kit pieces, etc….

    Are you serious? It’s that easy? So If I do what you said I can paste the file from my PC into EZDrummer 3 on my new Mac and it will work OK?

    That’s after you do the basic install of the software and the samples.
