I just bought this kit. I love it, but I love the SD3 samples as well. Wil there be a mapping preset for this kit? Has someone made one yet?
Its easy to do your own. Start with the strike pro. Hit your drums and see whats not right then change it by using the learn function in the settings.
When you make your own, you learn how everything works. And when something goes wrong and it will, you will know how to fix it.

That would be my advice as well given that there are issues with the mapping in other presets for SD3. Take for instance Toontrack doesn’t allow for 4 rack toms and even the 3 they map for are wrong.

Agreed. The presets are just a starting point. I kept and modified the kick, snare and hi hat for my td50x but stripped the cymbals and toms and started from scratch. It doesn’t take long and worth the effort.
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
