I only had to update SD3 in the Product Manager. It wasn’t that big of a deal.

I use Superior Drummer 3 but I also own EZDrummer, which can be used inside SD3. So I decided to update EZDrummer from 2 to 3. After this install I saw in Logic that I had an empty SD3 window when I opened the plug-in, with a message telling me that I needed to reinstall SD3.

So I did and now everything works fine.

But it’s annoying that updating a plug-in can prevent another plug-in to work.

    Superior Drummer 3 version: 3.3.0
    Operating system: macOS Monterey (12)

I am pretty sure that was a coicidence. Installing EZD3 should not cause that.

    yeah. very odd.
    i had EZD2, SD2 & SD3 all installed and updated prior to installing EZD3.
All continued to work without issue of any kind.
probably just a coincidence, as previously stated.
