I decided to assign the record function to a macro. “WRONG!!!”
I wanted to record the multiple audio streams in real-time to my DAW as i play and record with a guitarist.
E.G. arm guitar mic and arm SD3 record all from within the daw.
NOW
one would think that this would be the fix, but NO.
Now this behavior is permanent.
Any Idea’s ????
Cheers Ken

Ken:
No one wants to verify what you’re seeing because no one else is trying to do what you’re doing. People either record into SD3 OR their daw but not both at the same time. There’s no reason to do that and I think that’s your issue. Using macros in SD3 is fine and yes it was built for that.
Try this: open SD3 standalone and try recording something simple there. If that works then the s/w is okay. I’m a big fan of stripping things down to the beginning when debugging. It’s something I learned a long time ago (turned 71 in February).
