I was wondering if anyone knows why Humanize will be disabled for a region after I have already enabled it for all regions and saved my song. When I open up EZDrummer the next day, some regions have Humanize disabled. So I have to go thru and re-enable it for those regions. Is there something I’m doing that automatically disables Humanize? Like clicking on “Edit Play Style” for a region? Or even clicking on a drum in the drum tab? Or is this a bug?
I believe you should not worry about it. Humanize is not a real-time function.
If I drag a beat from a library recorded by a real drummer, for example, that beat is humanized. Therefore the humanize button is irrelevant whether on or off. If you already worked on a beat “while” the humanize button was active, the beat is still humanized whether the button is “currently” on or off.
A time to keep an eye on that button is when adding/editing notes to a beat and at that time you should make a conscious decision whether it should be active or not.
Zooming into the grid editor close and playing with the humanize button will reveal this explanation.
