Humanise vs Optimised Setting

Hi Forum,

First question on this forum,so apologies if it’s been asked before…

In the Settings options,which choice gives the best/most natural performance in terms of variation,sublety of articulation etc…Humanise or the

default Optimised setting?

Maybe a self-answering question,however the documentation I don’t think is definitive in this respect.

From a previous 2016 response….

“For many EZXs ‘Optimized’ is the same as ‘On’ but for some EZXs we have
found that it is better to turn some humanization off for a few instruments.”

I’ve never changed from the default myself. According to the quote above, if I ever hear something that’s off or stiff, I may experiment.
