Humaization DAW vs. Grid Editor

Hi everyone,

maybe it´s a noob question but … is the humanization feature of EZDrummer applied even if the midi is coming from a track in the DAW an not the grid editor inside EZ Drummer?

It doesn’t.

You need to create from scratch in the Grid Editor or have the midi in the EZD3 Song Track. If your DAW allows, you can just drag your midi from the DAW Track to the EZD3 Song Track.

Ah alright. Thank you very much. I just saw the humanizing changes are visible in the grid editor. So I have to edit my drums in the grid editor and can than drag it to midi in my daw to keep the humanization right?

Yes that is one of two ways to do it. If you haven’t tried it yet, just leave your midi in the Song Track (timeline) of EZD3 and it will sync to your DAW automatically. Maybe that works for you as well.
