I’ve got my kit in a different room from my studio computer. I want to be able to tweak sd3 settings/mixer from behind the kit with an ipad. Wondering how other people are accomplishing this
I use SplashTop to control my computer remotely from my iPad.

Thanked by: terry rocksIm luck, I can use my iPad Pro and connect it to my iMac using Apples Sidecar feature:
https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT210380
Basically allows me to use my iPad as a second screen. Either mirror my iMac screen completely, or be a second screen and I drag Superior Drummer 3 onto it.
Its great having it all at my fingertips at the drums.
But, this is Mac only and you have to have pretty new Macs and iPads to use Sidecar.

I can use the sidecar as well, but I prefer to use SplashTop as it has a wide feature set. Not to mention that I can also use my laptop as a remote with SplashTop
The Mac mini should be able to run SplashTop without any issues. As well, it is free for Wi-Fi use.

Thanked by: terry rocksAwesome. Thanks!
i’m trying out AnyDesk today. So far it’s working. I’ll have to try SplashTop as well
MOO-YAH! 😉
I use it on all my devices… it’s most useful for me when I am at my microphone area with my acoustic guitar on. I’m able to set up the recording chain on my Apollo without having to run back and forth, allowing me to check and set everything in real time. Logic Remote also comes in handy for me (which I will use on my iPhone at the same time) because I can then get everything down without ever having to leave my microphones.
Sometimes, technology is not a creation killer 😀
