This should be easy, but I cannot find an answer anywhere. I have ezdrummer3, and I’m on a Mac if that makes any difference. For a song I working on, I want handclaps AND cowbell. It seems in One shot I can pick one or the other, but not both. Can I add a cowbell to my current drum kit in EZdrummer? How can I use both in a song?
Are you working within a DAW? There are a few ways.
Export a handclap as a wav and load it as a user sample.
Set up two EZD tracks in your DAW.
Buy an expansion pack with a cowbell in the kit.

Thanked by: Scott Eshleman and ShootieYeah. I’m in Pro Tools with an Artist subscription. I tried importing a wave file. It didn’t sound right. Like, it didn’t quite match up. I thought there was a way to add a new piece of percussion to a drum kit. I guess maybe the second track would work.
Do you mean the sample doesn’t come at the right time? That can be fixed in Protools, by adding or taking away silence at the start.
No. I know how to fix that. I can’t explain it. I just thought there must be some easier way. I mean if I have access to claps and a cowbell, why can’t I use both? It shouldn’t be difficult, but I’ll figure it out. Thanks for your suggestions.
The main reason the sample doesn’t sound right is because it is considered a future hit and EZ Drummer makes certain adjustments for them. Claps and cowbells are grouped in the same future hit category in this case and you will need two instances of EZ Drummer in you DAW if you want them both. Alternatively, as mentioned, there are EZXs with either cowbells or claps in them that you can use simultaneously.
