How to Trigger Rim shot as center hit on Edrum kit ?

Hey guys, How can I select a rim shot articulation to be the center hit sound of a snare when playing a edrum kit ?

Hi,

 

you could go about this is in more than one way:

1. go into the ‘MIDI In/E-drums’ settings and edit the E-drum map you are using and change the SnareTrig note to Rimshot; if you are on a Roland Module that would be note #38 -> #40
2. Stack the Rimshot articulation on the Center articulation and Mute the Center

If you choose to Stack, you can be creative with the Velocity Gate and e.g. let the Rimshot be heard on higher velocities only.
