Dear forum I use a bar trigger instead of racktom 2 (or 3). The trigger works and produces a tom sound. Now I want to replace the tom sound for a cowbell sound. I have tried diferent things but can’t get it to work. Looking forward to advice / instructions. (I don’t want to use the rim of the original tom for the cowbell sound, allthough I have tried that too but also can not get it to work for me)
What different things have you tried? Knowing that would stop us giving the wrong help.
Thx for reacting 😉 BTW i work with an ATV exs3 module. What i have tried is for example looking into the midi mapping in EZD3 to replace the note of the tom sound (note 45 in my case) for the cowbell sound (note 1). Whatever I do, it still produces a tom sound. I have been able to add a tambourin sound, but in that situation could not get rid of the tom sound. I was hoping it would be possbile to just drag and drop the cowbell sound to whichever trigger I select but it seems not that easy.
Update: I have got the cowbell sound assigned to the bar trigger, but every hit also produces the tom sound. So my next issue is how to get rid of the tom sound. All help appreciated.
Can you reassign the bar trigger to another MIDI note and assign the cowbell to that one?
