Hi:
I am using the standalone version on Mac. Every drum has a large amount of reverb. I have effects off. I experimented on the snare with different levels of bottom, top and overhead mics, and the large amount of reverb is in all of them.
Thanks!

I want to know why it’s my job to suffer while I figure out where some reverb I didn’t order is on my plate, on snare and kick. It isn’t bleed mics. Why so many compressors, EQ, etc on my tracks, even on the dry setting? There aren’t that many interesting snares overall, and some real clunkers though assorted approaches make some of them useable. OH, wait, there is a dry preset, and it’s NOT dry…on the public forums, there are some bewildered customers on this point.
The presets are just that. Presets. So they have effects eq etc. the dry kits may have ambient mics which you can turn down. I really don’t see what the problem is.
