I’m starting to use EZ keys on my portable rig, Macbook pro with a couple of external drives for sounds etc. I have my Toontrack sounds and midi on there, and EZ Drummer sees the sounds and midi, but EZ Keys doesn’t see the various midi packs. I haven’t found a way to point EZ Keys to the midi folder on the hard drive. Is there a way to do that?
thanks!
Hi,
are you trying to split the location of the sound and MIDI files for EZKeys?
Or are you trying to add your own MIDI?
If the latter, there’s an ‘Add folder to Browser’ entry in the Menu > Browser.

Thanks John,
I’m wanting EZ Keys to access the midi (and sounds if that’s also possible?) on an external drive, rather than on the macbook pro HD. I’m doing this so I can easily keep my portable drives up to date with the ones I have in the studio, so I have everything with me when I write when travelling which is happening more regularly

Hi,
it works the same as with EZdrummer 2.
You should be able to follow these instructions but just switch ‘EZdrummer’ to ‘EZkeys’.
