Hi,
I have just bought a new laptop with a larger internal SSD.
I would like to now move Superior Drummer 3 onto the laptop and keep my SD sounds on my external Sansdisk SSD.
This is so I can quickly demo beats in my sequencer when I may be on the move and want a quick song sketch.
While moving about, I often don’t travel with the external drive with me.
Is this possible? I’m willing to work with only core sounds while moving and come back to the library sounds later.
Thanks for any thoughts on pros / cons and especially, how to relocate the main SD3 to the main computer internal drive.
If the library’s are on an external drive then you just need to install the plugin on the new pc then direct it to the library on the ssd drive. I think you can have two active computers registered.
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
