    Hi Terry,

you don’t sync the Standalone to Studio One, you load the VST3 as an instrument plug-in in Studio One.
Have you downloaded via the web interface or have you used the Product Manager application?
The latter is for downloading, installing and authorizing and what is recommended.

In the PM app, you can go to the EZdrummer 3 product, click ‘Show Details’ and then the ‘Installation Info’ tab, to make sure the VST3 component is installed. In the PM app, you will also see if any EZX expansions are downloaded and installed.
When it comes to Sounds and MIDI, all of them will have to reside in one common place when installed. Your downloaded installation files will be in another location and can be deleted post install but all this will be handled by the PM app.

Should you want to have a Custom location for installed Sounds and MIDI for EZdrummer 3, please read this FAQ:

Once you’ve loaded ezdrummer in Studio One, click the Follow Host button at the bottom of the EZD window.
