How to Install Superior drummer 3 Sound library on external SSD

I have a 2018 Mac Pro laptop and an external Samsung thunderbolt 3 1TB SSD.  How can I download and install the Superior 3 sounds library on my external SSD?

The drive on my Laptop isn’t big enough to hold the audio portion and it seems my only choice for download is to my Mac download folder.

Is it possible to do this? Also will Superior 3 work ok with the sounds on an external SSD?

Any help or advice is appreciated.

In Product Manager’s settings you can change the download path.

It will perfectly by having the sounds on an external SSD.

Thank you Hennrik,

I’m now downloading Superior drummer 3 Libraries to my SSD.  Once I have finished the downloads, How do I force the installer to install the SD3 library on my SSD and not my internal drive?

And how do I get the Superior drummer 3 app to use the SD3 library from my SSD?

Hi,

 

when the installer is launched, you will be asked where to install it. Just don’t install it into the same path as your downloaded files.

SD3 will find the library installed via the PM automatically.
