How to “Insert”

I’m using EZ Drummer 2 in Logic on a mac.  I created a drum track and now I want to add some fills and a new section in the middle of my MIDi Song blocks but when I drag a beat it “replaces” instead of “inserting”.  Is there a way to do this?

There’s no shuffle feature. You’ve got to do the work. Unless you use a DAW, then you could use whatever your DAW’s editing capabilities are with midi. Here’s a vid if you’re interested on optimizing Song Track workflow… https://youtu.be/9ha-mfk5y4o
