Hi All – how do you make the ride have its own channel? rather than going to OH (overheads)

Right click on the ride and in the menu select More > Route Instrument Microphones…
In the top you’ll see the Close Mics; those are the main microphones that captured the sound of the Ride. You can select to route them to a new separate channel, in the list below the header “Mixer Channels”. Some libraries have more than one overhead microphone(s), so you can in those send all the overhead microphones to their own channels, or gather them in one new mixer channel.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
