you can not export via midi and get the mixer effects.

What are you running the lug in? Logic, pro tools?

    Mac Studio

As I mentioned above I’m using Digital Performer 11 as my DAW.  Is that what you meant by “lug?”

Also, let me ask, if you can’t “export” mixer effect with midi is there a way that you can export the midi but retain the mixer effects when playing back the midi in the DAW so that the midi can still access the mixer effects in playback?  Is that possible or not?  If so, how?

It just seems as if the SD3 mixer effects are very good.  So, why wouldn’t you want to be able to access them in some capacity in export to a DAW?

Does the bounce allow the mixer effects to be included in the export and if so, how is that done?

You can bounce the file as a stereo audio file with all the mics and mixer effects. I have not been able to bounce individual drums with the    Mix settings I’m sure there is a way though

The problem is I did bounce the audio file and while the mixer effects were heard in SD3 they were not heard when imported into the DAW.  Any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it?

    Hi there,

In the bounce > Advanced tab

Make sure you have “Bounce Output Channels” selected and do not have “Bounce Microphone Channels” selected.

    Hope this helps.

I’ve been trying to export a stereo file in the stand Alone and instrument in my daw. I changed channel routing, I’ve tried every variation and i still get multiple audio files for every single channel.

So I’m assuming to get a single stereo file from sd3 i will have to render in my daw and export it from there?

This is a huge inconvenience for this point in the production. I’m sending the file out for review, just the drum track.

This is something that needs to be fixed!

If in your SD3 mixer everything is routed to Output 1-2. Like below:

    Output-1-2-Mixer
Then when you export audio: Advanced Tab and select, Bounce Output Channels. Like Below:

    Bounce-Output1
It should only create a file for Output 1-2. Can you give us a screen shot of your mixer output?
