Hi,
I have EZDrummer2. I am recording on a Roland VS-2480 outboard device. I have connected the Optical Audio out on my computer sound card to the VS-2480 and then, after putting the song parts together on EZDrummer2, play them back and record the stereo signal on 2 tracks of the VS-2480 and that works fine.
But, what I would like to do is send the MIDI out info from EZDrummer2, via the computer’s USB port which is connected to an M-Audio Midisport, to my JL Cooper PPS2, which then sends the converted audio signal to a recording track on the VS-2480. That way I can record the MIDI info on a track on the VS-2480, and then play back that track, going out to the JL Cooper PPS2, which converts it back to MIDI signal, back to the computer USB input, and then kicking off the song in EZDrummer2. Seems like that would work, but under Menu in EZDrummer 2, Enable MIDI Out is grayed out. How do I enable it?
Thanks for anyone’s help!
