Just select a preset then save as and give it a new name. That’s all you have to do. You can even edit the the preset and then save as.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

Thanks for the reply. Well I did that and it didn’t independently save my kit, the preset was edited too. Just to give you more information, the kit I copied was the pearl default and I named my user preset pearl default 2. Could that have been the problem? Does the naming have to be drastically different then original for it to save correctly?
