How to control sustain pedal in midi

Hi,
How do I control the sustain pedal from within my DAW (Live 9 Suite) ?
Clearly no problem with a keyboard controller and pedal, but having recorded something in….what if I want to go back and change the sustain…to add or take this out on some chords?

Found it….In Ableton Live, use the clip envelope and under Midi control use the CC 64 Hold.
