How to connect/use SD3 with Pearl Mimic Pro

    A quick look through the user’s manual seems to me that the USB port is for nothing other than to plugin a USB drive for adding additional samples to the ‘brain’ . My guess is that you would need a MIDI interface to connect to a host (Mac/PC). Again I don’t use the unit, but the manual online doesn’t seem to support the notion of USB to host connectivity. My 2 cents.

    I ordered a Roland version of the one you linked Brad – just before I saw your post. I think they’re essentially the same thing?

    The Roland should work fine, I would be surprised if they’re not same internal components.
