How to configure the RimShot

Hi, I use Superior Drummer 3 (last version) with a TD30 + snare PD 125 + HiHat VH13.
I don’t understand how to configure the rim shot. By default we have the Edge and center but if I set the rimshot to the circle of the snare, I have it on each Snare hit (very desapointed 🙂 )
Second question: How to keep the configuration I make (that I set as Default set + session saved) to all the drums I select. For the moment, if I change the drum, I loose all my mapping and velocities settings :-/
