I have EZ Drummer 1 installed with three extensions some years ago. The file directory is C:Program FilesToontrackEZdrummerSounds. All my other samples (including the sound files of Superior 2.5) are installed on my second hard disc D.
Now I want to upgrade to EZ Drummer 2 but my hard drive C is almost full. I learned from the manual that the sound content of EZD 2 will automatically be installed on the default directory on C and that it is not possible to re-direct the sounds or to chose another path. Do I have to uninstall and reinstall EZD 1 and all extensions to my sample disc D or is there an easy way to move the samples in a new directory on D and then to link to the sound files?
Thank you in advance.
Hi,
you should be able to upgrade first, then move the ‘C:Program FilesToontrackEZdrummer’ folder to your desired location. Upon next launch of EZdrummer 2, the plugin will ask for the location of the folder.
