I imported some close mics from a live drum session. I’ve completed my rough mix with the new drum sounds using/importing into “Tracker” and I am wanting to simply bounce each individual track OUT of SD3/Tracker, with all the Eqs and compressors I used to replace/better the drum sounds originally captured.
Do I need to convert all audio tracks in tracker to MIDI? If so, would the second step be to move all the MIDI tracks (7 in this case), down to the “MIDI song block area”? Would I need to go to the “Output” of SD3 and set up “Multi-out”. Or can I simply NOT deal with any MIDI and just bounce these processed audio files OUT of SD3?
I may be new to this software, and I’m having a hard time getting my head around a simple “audio bounce”. I’ve been a full time recording engineer in recording studios, for 15 years now and honestly I have never had an issue with using software. I’ve looked at countless of tutorials on line but with no answer to my struggle. I am not in need of any MIDI tracks, all I would love to do is to at least bounce separate audio tracks post-fader, that I can then import into pro tools to start mixing. I’m still running PT 9 (32bit) so I’m unable to use both platforms so to communicate with each other.
Thank you for any help anyone can give and for your time!
