How to audition without hearing the output

Hey guys Im running SD3 only for the OH and room and using Trigger 2 to activate the kick, snare & toms. This means what I audition a midi groove in SD3 im hearing the Overheads (OH) and the room running through the drums bus which sounds aweful to the ear since its only high end. I was wondering is there a way to autition midi grooves inside SD3 without it going through the output so I can hear as if its a stock drum kit but when I drag the midi groove to the cubase timeline then it triggers everything?

Hi,

you cannot have different microphones active depending on if you are triggering from an external controller or playing back MIDI from the Grooves library.
However, you can create a Macro to easily un-mute/mute a selection of microphones with a knob, which you can bind by MIDI Learn to a controller value.
