New to this and once again can’t figure something out. I’m creating a drum track in song creator and want to edit a section. The pattern in it has a bunch of closed hi-hat hits in it. I want to keep those and simply add an open hi-hat at the end of the measure, but can’t record that in without it being a closed hi -hat sound or without changing those I want to keep closed to open. Can someone tell me how to do this?
Thanks!
The Song Creator is popup area above the song track, where you get suggestions of matching grooves. Those can’t be edited, just like grooves in the Search tab can’t be edited.
Once you drag files down to the Song Track, they can be edited, using Edit Play Style. Double click a groove (also referred to as Song Blocks, or just MIDI) to open Edit Play Style, right click the hi-hat, and select Articulation, and then select any of the closed ones.
