Well, endings can be very different from song to song. I would suggest you look into learning the MIDI editing features of Pro Tools, rather than going through the whole MIDI library in EZdrummer. Sometimes adding a crash after a fill could do the trick, otherwise you might need to edit the MIDI yourself from scratch.

Thanks Martin…yea i got enuf understanding of protools now to do that…i’ve had it now for about 6 months. So i guess this edition of EZDrummer doesnt have any endings….thats strange….where all the other parts are there….well, i supose intros are technically not there either but thats easier ….hmmmmmm, in fact now that i think, i think i already did what you said for the intro….just deleting a few hits….yea i got a yamaha keyboard here in China a few months ago too so i can add cymbal hits easy nuf

AS you’ve dicovered. Endings and Starts are abit “exclusive” to the song you’re composing.
The great thing with the midi is that is a great starting point for you to chop and change  (mainly cut last 3 beats of the bar to accomodate the ending you’re after.
Also You will find some of the fills are OTT and if you had a drummer who kicked off like that before each chorus you’d shoot him lol!!!
So what i do is just drag the bar into the song over where i want it and grab the handles on the bar and shorten it…either way.  it gets a lot ore realistic that way.  (and you keep the drummer!!)  there are 1 bar fills and 2 bar fills so all you need to decide is what bit of the fill you like. SNap the bar to Quantise (to grid) helps as you can move it around and it all stays in time.

    Hope that helps a little.
