Newbie question here.
Using ‘Audio Tracker’ I’ve imported an 8-bar audio bass part from Nuendo into EZbass. It was (I think) automatically added to the Grid Editor. In any event I was able to add it to the Song Track.
I now want to import another 4-bar section into EZbass so I selected ‘New Session’ and successfully imported the audio to the correct bar location using the Audio Tracker and it is audible in the Audible Tracker screen. However the newly imported data is not appearing in the Grid Editor so the midi can not be edited and added to the Song Track. Do I have to do something else to get the imported audio converted to midi and added to the Grid Editor?

Hi,
Just click the “Add MIDI to Song Track” button.

Thanks for the response Olof, but your suggestion does not solve the problem.
In the Song Track I already have 16 bars of Midi.
After selecting ‘New Session’ I import bars 17-20 from Nuendo into the Audio Tracker. This works correctly (they are shown as bars 17-20 in the Audio Tracker), but when ‘Add Midi to Song Track’ is selected it DOES add the four bars (17-20) but with 16 empty bars before it! – It is adding 16 empty bars from the beginning of the song before inserting the actual midi notes. The midi notes from the second session are placed at bar 33 instead of bar 17.
Is this a bug or do I need to do something else to get the midi notes inserted at the correct place in the Song Track?.
Asa.

That seems like intended behaviour – you get everything from the tracker, everything from bar 1, even if there are no notes in the beginning.
In this case you need to make the added MIDI block smaller by dragging its left edge (which is at bar 17 if I understand you correctly) right to bar 33, then drag the four-bar block to bar 17.

Thanks, that does work but it would be much better if the Audio Tracker would only insert a part that was the same size as the audio that was actually imported, rather than a load of redundant space. Perhaps this could be implemented in a future update.
