Once grooves are dragged into the host, there’s no way for a plugin to remember.

I keep an analog pencil and paper handy to jot down the names of useful grooves.

    Hi Scott,

is this still the case? Can you do any sleuthing with the file name in the upper left hand corner of the grooves?

That would sure be a great addition to future editions. I’m in the same situation where I bought a bunch of libraries and then did a kind of impromptu song that although didn’t strike me as memorable there’s one verse that the drums fit somewhere else so much better!

Desperately, could one copy that groove and then open a new project and then paste it and try to work around it? I’m using Logic 8 on a mac if that matters.

Thanks if you or anyone else can offer some help!

Well, Rogue did try to explain the groove hieroglyphics in this post. I don’t understand any of it

Thanks Scott, I will try to digest that…I appreciate the link as I wasn’t good at phrasing the search thru the forums.

Yes, yes it does. I use Cubase 4 and it does the same thing.
