I just downloaded Studio One demo to check it out and I cannot use my SD3 as a plug in, matter of fact I can’t even find it. Do I need to perform a setup of some sort? I can use SD3 as a stand alone just fine with my TD-50 but cannot open it as a VST Instrument on Studio One.
Thanks
I believe demo Studio One is like Studio One Artist, which doesn’t allow third party VST instruments unless you buy an add-on which gives you that capability. Studio One Pro does have that capability built in.

PS. I know of no such procedure necessary for installing/using 3rd-party plugins in Pro Tools (as long as an AAX version of the plugin is available).

Thanked by: tgfoyl1472_1Thanks Scott! I am towing around with what may be the best DAW for me to get back into recording (for fun mainly) I learn Protools back when it was either LE or HD (which I couldn’t afford).
Now I am looking at the best DAW for integrating SD3 into it. I am looking at Reaper, Logic Studio One and PT. So far I downloaded Studio One Demo and since the demo doesn’t support VSTs I guess that one is out for any trial. I also downloaded the free version of PT but it doesn’t work with Catalina (of course). I am down to trying Reaper now and if that doesn’t do it for me, I will take the plunge with Logic.
Thanks again everyone for your help.
