Hi,
I am assuming you have your MIDI on the Instrument Track in PT?
Make sure ‘Follow Host’ is enabled, click the Record button on the SD3 Song Track and then Play in PT. This will record the MIDI from the PT Track onto the SD3 Song Track.
An alternative way is to Export the MIDI from PT and use the Track Menu in SD3 to Import the MIDI.
If your MIDI Track has a set Tempo and Tempo changes, a Tempo Map, this can also be imported to the SD3 Song Track.
Once your MIDI is on the SD3 Song Track, you go to the Track Menu and select ‘Bounce’.
>> Important >> IF your song has a Tempo Map, you want to disable ‘Follow Host’ before Bouncing to Audio files.
Next, you select which Track (if you have several) gets Bounced, if you want the files to be 24-bit or 16-bit, if it is the whole Song Track or just the loop area.
On the Advanced tab you select whether you want to have Bounced files per microphone pre-mixer or if you want to Bounce through the mixer, if you want All Bleed On and if there are any channels you wish to split into separate files.
BR,
John
