I am probably being dense (wouldn’t be the first time), but I cannot work out how to alter the tuning! All my material is in Drop A# tuning, and I can’t seem to work out how to adjust tuning in EZBass?!?

Yes, I typically play lower tuned or dropped tuned guitars. I don’t understand your issue with the tracker though and am not sure what you mean by “doesn’t cross over”. Can you elaborate or be more specific? When i record in the tracker the accuracy is all over the place (i have two 7 strings, an 8 string and a 6 string) so that doesn’t really affect my experience? Once i figured out how ezbass tuning system works then it made more sense to me. I agree that toontrack could be more clear about how the tuning system works (use the semitone to tune down) but again once i figured that out i got the sound i needed. The metal ezx goes down ridiculously low so i’m covered tbh lol.
Cannot tune EZ Bass 0r EZ Keys down to 432 Hz!!!!!!
I am working with Logic Pro X.
Hi Toontrack Team
Are there any News to build custom Tunings like Drop D, Drop C on 4 strings (including choseable Picture with a 4-string bass) or Drop A on 5-strings in the meantime?
So that it’s easier to arrange own compositions with fretboard in mind?

Bought ezbass for metal and drop tuned playing. It doesn’t work for drop tuned music why? So I wasted my money on a program that doesn’t work for my project what a waste of money …… can I get a refund for false advertising?
the fact that it can’t be down tuned is mind blowing. even more mind blowing is the fact that this issue has not been fixed after over a year. really disappointing and out of character from toontrack.
Hi Dominic, I’m not sure why you mean? Drop A is not enough? Have you explored the Tuning drop-down menu?

So what is the deal? Are you (John/tt) saying that it was an issue, but now because of “the Tuning drop-down menu” it is now a non issue and all these complaints are now not valid
Hi Clean Reals,
the OP marked Henrik’s reply as ‘Best Answer’, I didn’t.
What does the current ‘Lowest available Note’ function not provide for you? Please elaborate.

i don’t get relation between ezbass, logic piano roll VS Ample GTR see pic both playing the midi note D#/Eb
also says here: https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=540991
1. change tuners on guitar head, turn them a half tone down.
2. select all of MIDI notes in the track, turn them a half tone down.
It keeps correct fingering positions on guitar (= correct sound)

Does my reply to your question make any sense?
Hi,
if I understand you correctly, it is only about the visual representation in the plug-in interface.
I can play down to drop A when triggering from keyboard or piano roll, which is the important part, right?

Hello
For Drop Tunings i always make my Bass Parts in Guitar Pro. Export it as MIDI file and drop it into EZbass. Works fine for almost every Drop tuning.

Check out the video. Important is to write the Bass Tabs as a Guitar track
