Could any of you tell me what audio interface will work with SD3. I am no longer using a daw. I am going into my console then to tape. So how can I get audio from the SD3 mixer into my console individual tracks? My SD3 is on a mac pro so I know i will need some type of adat or firewire device right? Please let me know. thanks.
I use a Mac system as well.
Have successfully ran SD with a Behringer, a Presonus, a Focusrite and now a Motu interface. The first two were USB, the last two, Thunderbolt.
Thanks. I have a focusrite liquid 56 that I will try to get set up and see how it goes.

Will the motu hd 192 work? Is it standalone? If not which motu are you using. I know the 2408mk3 works in standalone but I need 12 outputs so can I chain 2 2408mk3’s together? The HD192 has 12 outs and would be perfect if it will do standalone.
I have the Motu 828es. For my use, it’s overkill as it’ll send 60 outs.
I wanted Thunderbolt and use it to send an 8 channel drum kit mix from Ableton through separate DIs (a Radial rack mount) and then to FOH.
The Motu is terrific as a standalone. For routing I find the software interface more intuitive than the one from Focusrite
