How do I stop / adjust a “rimshot” hit ? The whole snare selects.

My Ezdrummer midi clip is playing a snare hit, but also a rimshot hit on the same snare.

I click on the snare to solo the drum because I want to change the sound, but the whole snare is outlined, I can’t get the rim of the snare to light up (select).

I simply want to turn down the rimshot without affecting the snare hits.

How do I do that?

EZdrummer version: 2.2.2
Operating system: Windows 10

There is no separate volume control for the Rimshot/sidestick. Use Edit Play Style. Right Click Snare> Articulation>Turn Velocity Knob down.
