After I’ve dragged EZDrummer midi out of EZDrummer and into tracks in my DAW, is there any way to look up what library and sub library etc. that midi came from? I’ve tried to drag mystery midi onto that “Midi Drop Zone” area, but it never does anything. Nothing happens once I drag the midi clip to that drop zone. Am I doing something wrong? Does Superior Drummer have better midi look up abilities?
I drag grooves to the Song track as a placeholder for this purpose. Some DAWs allow for dragging back into EZD2…Cubase can do this.
Or, you can enable record on the Song Track and record the groove back into the Song Track, then drag to the Tap 2 Find.
S3 has the same capabilities as EZD2 in terms of DAW integration with grooves once they are dragged out of the plugin.
