How Do I Route EZD2 to Superior 2.4 for MIDI Auditioning?

Greetings:

I’ve read that it’s possible to audition my Toontrack MIDI library, using EZD2’s search function, while being routed to Superior 2.4’s drum kit but I’ve been unable to configure this in Nuendo 5.56/Cubase 7.1. Currently, I have EZD2’s “Enable MIDI Out” checked and that Output is set to the Input on my Superior 2.4 MIDI track, but I’m not hearing any Superior sounds when auditioning MIDI grooves. What am I missing?
