How do I just add in 1 kick hit to an existing beat??

I know this is a really basic question, but I have a beat that I like, and I just want to add in 1 more kick hit at a particular spot. I can do that, right? Thanks in advance!

You sure can you overdub it in your daw

You copy paste it in your daw.

As Phantom said.

Or zoom in and splice the note where you want to add. Open that new splice in Edit Play Style, select kick and turn amount knob.

Overdubbing in the song track would require quantizing.

You could drag you file into Tap2Find and click your kick in there.
