As a disclaimer, I am new to SD3. So, I thought I’d throw that out first before my question..
My question is this, and hopefully a representative from Toontrack can answer this question. So I have SD3 installed, but no expansion packs. How do I create custom grooves instead of simply using the presets? Like if I wanted to build a groove from scratch, and then save it. Slowly build up the groove, just have the bass drum for two bars then bring in the hi-hat, and gradually build up from there. I appreciate the Tap2Find feature but the grooves more often than not are different than what is playing in my head. I tried finding information on this, but was unable to get any results on YouTube or elsewhere.
