Hi, I’m dragging/dropping a midi groove from SD3 into an instrument track in Cubase. The MIDI plays back fine and it sounds almost just like the preview INSIDE SD3 – however, on playback of the instrument track, I notice that the sound of the hats in the preview is being played as a ride in Cubase!!
What could be causing this? Did I do something wrong in setting up my first drum track for SD3?
I’m not a frequent or proficient Cubase user but I’d guess that the MIDI Mapping in your Cubase needs a slight adjustment.
I searched the FAQ & forum. Found the following:

Thanks for the link to the SD3 maps for Cubase…
Does this mean that whenever one loads a kit from a different “pack” in SD3, we have to ALSO load a different drum map in order for it to sound right?
Whats the “rule” for when to load or swap out a certain drum map?
