how can i tell how many loops or grooves are in a kit

Hi i love using the loops or grooves to inspire new songs.  I am interested in buying a couple new expansion packs but i can’t tell how many grooves are in each sound expansion kit.  Is there a way to tell before i buy?  Specifically i am interested in the  Alchemy of Pop and the Indie Folk.

I don’t know of any way. I have Alchemy and will count them for you tomorrow.

A Finder count for Alchemy of Pop showed about 213 items. Accounting for the folders, there is probably about 150 grooves or so.

Keep in mind that the main thing about Alchemy is that it’s a drum library (and a very good one at that) and the grooves are more of a starter, designed to show off each kit. If you like Skye Polson’s type of groove, you might want to also look into his latest groove pack that was released today – Back to the Roots.
