How can I create the sound of a mallot striking a snare or tom

Hi, I have ez drummer2, and would like to get more of a heavy attack sound on the snare or toms… like a mallot strike… that I can sequence into a loop.

I have the ezdrummer Indie midi kit set which does include a mallot strike as I understand….

The Indie Folk EZX has a mallet kit.

Yes, I do have that Indie Folk kit… so do I just pull up the Indie Folk loops in the ezdrummer menu to access the kit and then I can choose to use the mallot?

The MIDI loops don’t produce sounds. They are just MIDI. You need to load the Indie Folk EZX and then load the Mallet Kit (see pic) from the Kit piece drop down menu (see the EZD2 manual pages 12-13 if that is confusing). Then brows the MIDI loops and it will trigger the mallet sounds.
