Hey gang, was wondering if anyone here can help me with a hihat issue I’ve been experiencing with my ekit.
I recently purchased a Millenium MPS-850, and have been using the Millenium MPS-750 preset (850 is the same thing except it comes with another tom and cymbal pad) and everything is working properly after tweaking some of the midi numbers in the module except for the hihat. The hihat works fine for the most part, except SD3 Hihat Pedal options don’t seem to be recognizing when the pedal itself is “Tightly closed.” To explain the best I can, in the Settings -> MIDI In/E-Drums -> Hi-Hat pedal, there is a meter that signifies how open/closed the hihat sensor is. It recognizes, in the meter, that the hihat is either open all the way, or closed tight. However, when I actually play the hihat, all the hits line up perfectly EXCEPT for the tight hits. So, for example, if my pedal is closed all the way, and the meter is signifying its closed tight, SD3 plays the sample for the regular “Closed edge/tip” and not “Tight edge/tip.” Does anyone know a fix for this?
Apologies if this explanation is not clear enough, I can try to elaborate further, if necessary.
Thanks.
Hi,
what happens if you grab the ‘Tight’ threshold and drag it up slightly?

Hey, that unfortunately doesn’t help. It still defaults to closed instead of tight. I’ve tried changing presets to the maximum closed setting where Tight is at 89 and it still defaults to closed.
Here’s a video that may better show my issue. https://youtu.be/dhGng0Rbk1I
