Hi-hat pedal triggering issue with Roland TD 50x and Hi-hat VH13

Hello there:

Im having this problem and havent been able to figure it out in months. I have this kit connected to my Mac with Cubase and Logic, and the same problem happens everytime.

The VH13 hi-hat is mounted on a real Hi-hat stand. Regulary, when I hit the pedal it triggers the closed pedal sound, but it also triggers a drum stick hit on the head of the cymbal out of nowhere. This is quite frustrating but I cant get rid of that annoying triggering issue.

Do you have any ideas on how to solve this?

Hi,

I would check the cross-talk settings in your module. If you record from the module at such an occasion, there should be two notes triggerening at the same time, one for the pedal and one for the cymbal.
