hi hat pedal closed volume help

I understand the articulation settings for the hi hat, but my hi hat pedal closed (no sticks) volume is still very low.

How do I bring the pedal volume up?

Select the articulation you want to make louder, in the articulations menu (top right side of the Drums Tab), and increase the level in the Level property box.
