    Hi,

check your CC lane; you can switch out the Velocity lane at the bottom for ‘Hi-Hat Pedal CC Control’.

    Hi John,

I would be very happy to ask you to explain me in a little more detail what I should do!?
It’s not clear to me, why do I still hear Open-HH in PLAY-Modus even though it’s deleted and only Closed-HH is programmed?

    Thanks in advance
    Dusan

    Hi John,

When I deactivate the “Enable Curve” field in the Grid-Editor code “Hi-Hat -Pedal CC Control (CC4)”, then everything is fine and Hi-Hat does not play non-existent notes.

Is this the only solution to fix this problem or can something be fixed with Hi-Hat Adjustment in Settings?

    Thanks!
    Dusan

Well, if there is CC data there that bothers you, just delete it. The use of CC data to control openness of the HH is a part of the engine – using a few Trig notes and pedal to get a nuanced playing when E-drumming – but if you are programming the individual articulations, it will be confusing with CC data. In your case it will sound like you hit the closed articulation and then release the pedal (not actual hits).

In other words, there is nothing wrong, you just need to work out why you have got CC data there in the first place. Mod Wheel?

    BR,
    John
